Once they have left their kids at school, “the Outsiders” meet at the corner cafe. They are friends since their children began primary school. Unsuccessful, eternal teenagers, lazy and a little bit useless, the only rule among them is not to talk very seriously.
During a long breakfast at La Boqueria market, Pere, the writer of the group, listens entranced to the narration of Mario, who, after being abandoned by his wife, decides to visit the town where he spent his childhood, town that he left when their parents divorced and his father disappeared forever.
Pere is trapped in this story and wants to write a novel about it, which will also be a journey of all of them towards their origins, in search of a lost innocence or of that unforgettable woman that every man idealizes in their own way.
An exact cocktail of innocence and humour.
A story about masculine friendship and disorientation in a maturity that arrives without asking for it.
